Where does nmm store downloaded mods

 · Installed mod is saved in your install game directory. Typically C:\Program FIles\Skyrim\Data. Saved mods by NMM are saved in another directory, depending on your choice when you install NMM. Mine 94%(32).  · NMM mod install directory. Mods are stored in the Nexus mods folder (the actual downloaded archives) and installed to the Fallout 4 data folder. I don't understand the second question. NMM downloads mods under it's own installation folder and installs them in to your game Data folder - where they should be. nah no need to be afraid, if I remember correctly, Even NMM store the downloaded mods in it's download folder. so before deleting NMM, look up the location where NMM stores downloaded mods, and copy/move them all to a new folder, and use MO2 to manually install those mods from that folder.

NMM does not automatically activate mods as there is a chance your downloads will conflict with currently installed files, and we think it's best if you manage this process manually so you do not inadvertently break your game.
